Out of the Blue

Brian Jones
Age: 54
Profession: Real estate agent

The farthest thing from two peas in a pod, Brian and Pia are more like chalk and cheese – but it works well for them.

Brian is the true blue Aussie bloke, feeling deeply but being utterly reserved in the way he communicates, preferring to observe and sometimes act, rather than talk about everything. His strongly Italian-influenced family likes to talk, of course.

At work, Brian is well-regarded and trusted. His honesty and sense of integrity has seen him become quite successful, and now the most challenging and confusing element to his life is that of raising a teenage daughter, Lucia.

Kim Knuckey plays Brian Jones

Kim Knuckey has a well-established television career, having appeared in many well-known television series and telemovies including A Country Practice, Home And Away, Rafferty's Rules, Come In Spinner, Families, Sky Trackers, G.P., Echo Point, Over The Hill, Big Sky, Murder Call, Wildside, All Saints, Water Rats, Outriders, The Junction Boys, Fireflies, Two Twisted and Rain Shadow.

Kim has also appeared in a number of feature films including Irrestistible Force, Tanker Incident, Risk and The Full Shebang.

Kim has also performed in the theatrical productions Every Prospect of Success (Q Theatre), The Shifting Heart and Whose Life Is It Anyway? (Phillip St. Theatre); Equus (Glenn Street Theatre), Beyond Reasonable Doubt (National Tour), Bedtime For Bastards – Capital (Under The Table Productions), The Titanic Orchestra (New Theatre) and The Prince Of Brunswick East (The Old Fitz).
