Janine is back in EastEnders

Following her recent appearance for father Frank's funeral, EastEnders bad girl Janine Butcher is set to make a permanent return to Albert Square.

Charlie Brooks, who plays the scheming minx, is said to be delighted to be back. She starts filming this summer and viewers will see Janine's return in the late autumn.

Janine's comeback is hot on the heels of her brother Ricky, who also recently came back to the Square following a long absence. Other old time favourites who have returned to the soap are Bianca (Patsy Palmer) and Clare (Gemma Bissix).
