Written by Lorrae Desmond and Gael Ballantyne and starring Lynne McGranger

Set against an Australia embroiled in political unrest, Thommo is having trouble settling back into civillian life. His marriage to Wendy, his childhood sweetheart is suffering. Their little girl has leukaemia and needs a bone-marrow transplant.

Thommo's army mates step in. Angry men hell bent on justice. They enlist the help of an ex-Viet Cong with 'special skills' to raise funds for her treatment. Led by Wendy, this bunch of larrikins operate an intricate if not entirely legal scam, involving money, sex and the social set.

A fictitious story within a factual backdrop, this intoxicating concoction mixed with mateship, humour and original music erupts onto stage in a heady brew that is...Honey.

Adapted from the novel Smokey Joe's Cafe by Bryce Courtenay, Honey had its worldwide debut in 2007.
