bring a character to life. Buffer is no exception.
What was the most memorable aspect of filming?
When a cast and crew climb on board an active Patrol Boat, which is essentially their home for the duration of the shoot, it is never going to be an easy task. However, the mutual respect, teamwork and trust that developed quickly, encouraged originality and I believe, excellence.
What was your view of the navy prior to the show compared to now?
Previously, I saw the Australian Navy as part of the Armed Forces that defended our shores. That hasn't changed, however I now know that task is done with courage, pride, dignity and a strong sense of family.
Any anecdotes that make the show memorable or different from other shows you have worked on?
Being told by Navy Personnel that when we filmed a boarding, where a group of us go over the side to apprehend a drug dealer’s boat that we “looked like the real deal”! It's not every day you get to do your own stunts and do them well!
