In the series finale, the Walkers are coming to terms with the financial loss of Ojai Foods when they discover some hope in the form of on of William Walker's covert investments. Kitty and Robert go on the campaign trail, Saul has a test that sets his nerves on edge and Justin and Rebecca consider having some time apart. Is this the end for the newlyweds?

Sarah braces herself and her staff as she prepares for the closure of Ojai Foods. Rebecca and Holly look for new jobs but Justin has something else in mind for Rebecca. Robert goes to a political dinner on Kitty's behalf so she can help with Ojai and the family gather together to have one last dink in Ojai.

Where There's Smoke...
Nora and Saul visit their mum Ida (played by Marion Ross), who is recovering from an ankle operation, and Nora insists that Ida comes back home and live with her while she recovers. Kevin and Scotty start seeing a psychic called Miss Nadine to take their minds off Michelle's pregnancy test. Will she offer any illumination for the couple? Meanwhile, Luc overhears Sarah and Kitty talking about the possibility that Sarah might be pregnant.

If You Bake It, He Will Come
Kevin can't forgive Nora for hiding the details of the accident from him but Nora is determined to make up with her son and plans a lavish party to celebrate his 39th birthday. Luc's visa is coming to an end but Sarah and the family's woes are about to worsen when they learn that Ojai is about to be stripped of its capital. Meanwhile, Robert is being secretive about a new job.

The Walker family discover that Nora has been hiding information about Dennis York to protect them for the last 25 years. Kevin confronts a dark secret and struggles to deal with the consequences of his new-found knowledge. Elsewhere, Justin asks Rebecca an important question.

The Walker family reminisce about their days at Ojai Foods in 1986 in a bid to unravel the secret that William's arch rival Dennis York holds over them. But when they uncover the secret, the family find that it affects them more than they'd anticipated.

Luc is saved from deportation in the nick of time but Kitty's campaign comes under fire when unsubstantiated reports suggest that she helped Luc to stay in the country. Bloggers soon start dishing the dirt on Luc, calling for him to leave America. Nora prevents Dennis from seeing her children and Holly tells Rebecca that she's lost all her money.

Leap of Faith
The Walkers are ecstatic that Luc is back. Sarah is less so when he tells her that his visa runs out in four weeks and he's marrying his art dealer so he can stay in the country. Kitty is irked by her campaign manager Buffy and tries to fire her. Kevin is given the boot by Robert at work and Justin tries to get Rebecca to talk about her miscarriage.

A Valued Family
Holly tells David about Dennis York's sleazy offer and struggles to make a decision about her shares in Ojai. Nora helps Rebecca make brownies for Justin's Valentine's Day treat but soon the pair postpone their baking when Rebecca gets severe pains and Kitty hires a bolshy campaign manager called Buffy to help raise her political profile.

The Pasadena Primacy
Kitty tells her family that she's running for Robert's senate seat. The family meet up and cast anonymous votes as to whether they think this is a good idea. Elsewhere, there's a slump in business at Scotty's restauarant and Kevin tries to avoid his high school reunion.

Run Baby Run
Nora tries to do Saul a favour by helping with the taxes but he takes offence to her offer of kindness; Robert is disillusioned with politics but Kitty considers a career in the Senate; and Sarah goes on a date with Roy, a divorced dad she met at Paige's science fair, but finds his opinions on children's rights very different from hers.

The Science Fair
Paige prepares for the science fair with the help of Kevin and Scotty. Sarah is upset that her daughter doesn't want her help, but the pair talk out their problems. Meanwhile, Saul asks Holly to give Ryan another chance, and Simon turns up on Nora's doorstep.
Thursday 25th March
A Bone to Pick
The doctors advise Kitty to have a risky bone marrow transplant after her collapse at the beach. Later she asks Sarah to bring her a shoebox filled with love letters from an older politician she had a relationship with after leaving college as she doesn't want Robert to see them. Kevin gets in a row with Robert when he discovers that he's been going to see a woman. Kevin is mortified to discover that the woman is a psychiatrist who's been helping him deal with Kitty's illness.

The Nearlyweds
Justin and Rebecca's wedding is postponed when a hurricane hits the shore. Justin admits, in his AA meeting, that he is scared about getting married and becoming a father, not realising that his future father-in-law is sitting in on the meeting. Elsewhere, Kitty lies about the state of her health to prevent Robert from cancelling his work trip.

Pregnant Pause
Kitty walks in on Nora and Simon in the shower. Holly and Nora disagree over the wedding; Kevin and Scotty visit a fertility clinic and make a decision on who will be the biological father; and Kitty and Nora find out about Rebecca's baby.
Thursday 4th March
The Wine Festival
The family are anxious when Ojai's latest wine is entered into a wine competition. Elsewhere, Sarah persuades Luc to design a label for the wine bottle; Rebecca calls Justin to tell him that she's pregnant but she bails out when he mentions the pressure he's under studying to become a doctor and Nora feels self-conscious about dating Simon.

The Wig Party
Kitty is upset when she begins to lose her hair but Nora is on hand to offer her support. Meanwhile, Rebecca thinks she might be pregnant; Simon asks Nora out on a second night and Scotty takes stock when his father delivers some upsetting news about his marriage.

Zen and the Art of Mole Making
Tommy makes a surprise late-night visit; Sarah prepares to tell her children about Luc; Kevin and Scotty get further with their plans of surrogacy and Holly seeks Ryan and Rebecca's help to sort out her finances.

Last Tango in Pasadena
Sarah plans to spend the day in bed with her French lover Luc but her plans come to an abrupt end when her children and their father return home. Later, Luc goes to stay with Nora and helps Justin perfect his tango moves for the wedding and Robert romances Kitty.

From France with Love
Sarah returns from France and tries to distract Kitty from her chemotherapy treatments with tales of her romance with a French artist. Elsewhere, Justin is struggling to understand his classes and has to ask his lecturer for extra help.

Almost Normal
Kitty's cancer has spread. She, Robert and Nora come together to make an agreement on her treatment and prepare to share the news with the family. Meanwhile, Saul and Holly bump into an unwanted guest at a wine auction who makes it his business to sabotage their offers.

In the first episode, Kitty holds a dark family secret close to her chest fearing that it could devastate the Walker family if it was revealed.
