Monday 5th May 7.30pm

Audrey (Sue Nicholls) is stunned by what she has discovered in Maria's bag, and heart in mouth, she asks Maria (Samia Smith) to explain what is going on. As Maria looks at the picture of her son's tiny feet she breaks down and confesses to Audrey what has happened.

Audrey's shock however is nothing compared to Liam's when a midwife turns up at the house looking for Maria to check she is ok after the still birth. Numb Liam (Rob James Collier) tries to take in the news before making the decision to go and get some answers from Maria.

Marcus (Charlie Condou) is still struggling with the Maria's secret but his spirits are lifted by the early return of Sean (Antony Cotton). Sean's protestations that he just wanted to come home don't ring true and it isn't long before Marcus discovers the real reason Sean has caught an early flight home.

Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) is concerned about Chesney (Sam Aston) who seems withdrawn and quiet. A phone call from Les does little to lift his spirits when he discovers he is not coming back for at least a year.

At the detention centre David (Jack Shepherd) is waiting for Tina (Michelle Keegan) to arrive but Graeme (Craig Gazey) is not convinced that is going to happen.

When she finally explains why she couldn't tell him what had happened he is devastated and when she refuses to talk about the funeral their grief turns to anger and they start arguing. As Liam leaves a distraught Maria begs him to tell her he loves her but he can't bring himself to say the words.

Ashley (Steven Arnold) is surprised at Claire's idea that they downsize and move house to save some money. Over a drink - of water - in the pub Claire (Julia Haworth) discusses the idea with Sally (Sally Whittaker) and it isn't long before the two women have come up with a plan to solve the problem - they should swap houses.

David (Jack P Shepherd) is delighted when Tina (Michelle Keegan) turns up for her visit. The two are nervous with each other and he is still unsure of why she has come to see him. Does she want to give it another go?

Carla (Alison King) is stunned to find out from Liam (Rob James Collier) about Maria (Samia Smith) losing the baby and even more shocked when she discovers that she kept it from him. Genuinely upset for both of them, she is able to offer Liam to comfort that he has been lacking from Maria. He goes to see Maria and they finally discuss the funeral details and a name for the baby but Maria is gutted when he leaves again with Carla and she sees her hug him. Are Maria's worst fears about Liam and Carla going to come true after all?

Gail (Helen Worth) is stilll determined to get to the bottom of her mum's meetings with Ted Paige (Michael Byrne) and quizzes Rita (Barbara Knox) on what has been going on. Carla meanwhile is still offering her support to Liam and accompanies him to the church. Will Maria change her mind and be there to bury her son?

Claire (Julia Haworth) is dellighted that Ashley (Steven Arnold) has agreed to the house swap and she and Sally (Sally Whittaker) set the wheels in motion for the estate agents to value the properties. The women seem to have the whole plan mapped out but neither Kevin (Michael Le Vell) nor Ashley are convinced this is the answer.

Fiz (Jennie Mcalpine) and Julie (Katy Cavanagh) are still battling it out to be the one who works out whatever it is that is troubling Chesney (Sam Aston).
