Tuesday 6th May 6pm
When the same tremor that led to the Diner collapsing reveals a time capsule beneath the town's war memorial, a startling truth is revealed: Colleen is Alf and Morag's sister.
As the news of Cassie's HIV status spreads around the school, born largely on wings of ignorance, Geoff displays an unexpected reaction. Convinced that it must be God's punishment, he blames Cassie for her situation until some words from Irene set him straight.
When other younger students show similar ignorance, Miles feels forced to explain the facts to them, leading to furious calls from parents. But for her part, none of that really matters. Cassie is far more worried about Aden than what people think of her.
Alone and terrified that he may too be HIV positive, Aden does his best to distract himself with a game of pool. At the sound of Colleen going on about the War Memorial, Aden makes yet another disparaging comment about the military, and Morag decides it's time to get to the bottom of this. She challenges him to a game of pool; if he wins, she'll give him a thousand dollars, if he loses, he'll have to answer some questions.
Little knowing of Morag's prowess, it seems too good to be true, and Aden can hardly resist. But when she wipes the floor with him and he finally begins to open up, hinting at some past trauma at the hands of his grandfather, it only raises more questions.
Wednesday 7th May 6pm
The Stewarts are reeling with the news that Colleen is one of them. But they're not half as shocked as the rest of Summer Bay when a series of misunderstandings as Colleen spreads the news leads them to believe that Colleen and Alf are getting married, and the new brother and sister soon find themselves, to their horror, at their own engagement party.
We see more of Aden's dysfunctional home life as he continues struggling with the hand fate has dealt him. But it's hard to feel sorry for him as he takes out his fear on everyone around him, refusing every offer of sympathy. When the tests finally come back they're negative. He should be over the moon, but to his doctor's surprise, Aden's not. Morag's recent delving has brought back a lot of dark memories, and he's finally ready to tell someone what he went through.
Thursday 8th May 6pm
Cassie tells roman and Morag that she saw Aden and he stormed off in obvious distress, there was only one conclusion she can jump to. Believing that Aden's blood test results have come back positive for HIV, Cassie is wracked with guilt and asks Roman and Morag to help Aden however they can when she is overseas. Though they have little choice but to agree, they remain sceptical of what they can do for him. Little do they know that the real problem is, if not worse, then far more complicated. In truth, Aden's results were negative, but opening up about the abuse he suffered at the hands of his grandfather has brought the pain and memory back to the surface.
Aden's first attempt to confront his father is shut quickly down, but when a photograph of his grandfather sends Aden into a rage that leaves his lounge room in ruin his father goes berserk. Spurred by Cassie's request, Roman arrives just in time to stop Aden's father from literally choking the accusations out of his son. Aden agrees to crash at Roman's for the night, and things seem to be going well until he spots a photo from Roman's army days and flees. Emotionally ravaged and feeling more alone than he ever has, Aden takes refuge in the condemned Diner. But as he settles down to sleep the day takes its final swing at him. The roof collapses, rendering Aden trapped and unconscious.
Jack is falling apart under the pressure as, with all Sam's secrets revealed, he has been left to choose between sending his pregnant wife to jail or letting her get away with murdering Johnny Cooper and endangering his friends and family. With an answering machine full of Sam's pleas, he finally comes to a decision. Sam arrives at their house alone as agreed, fearful of a trap, but ready to save her marriage. But Jack has no intention of saving their marriage, this time he has an ultimatum for her. If she hands herself in to the police for murdering Johnny, he'll keep the rest to himself.
Jack believes that, under the circumstances and given her past, Sam will get a lenient sentence, maybe as little as six months. In return, he demands custody of the baby when it's born. She has two days to decide. As far as Jack's concerned, he's offering her a good deal, but Sam loses it, and all her past jealousy comes to the boil. Convinced this is all Jack's plan to get back with his ex wife; Sam confronts Martha at Roman's flat, verbally abusing her. When Jack finds out, he's furious, and as punishment, reduces Sam's thinking time to a single day.
Friday 9th May 6pm
Aden drifts in and out of consciousness, trapped under a portion of collapsed roof in the Diner.
The preparations are on for Sally's farewell. And while the students Miles selected set everything up, Melody is growing to like Geoff more and more with each moment spent together. Even better, it seems to her that Geoff is feeling the same way. When Miles tells her there's nothing wrong with a Catholic dating a Protestant, it seems there's nothing left to keep them apart. Unfortunately for poor Melody, she's read the situation all wrong.
With the realization that her best friend is leaving beginning to hit home, Matilda is struggling to keep up a brave face. And at the same time, Sally is dreading the car trip to Brisbane with a four year old who gets car sick. That is until Ric comes up with a brilliant idea to solve both their problems. The only reason Sally was driving was because she plans to take so many things to leave at Pippa's in Queensland. But if she and little Pippa fly, it leaves Cassie with the car and the opportunity to go on a road trip with Matilda and really enjoy their last few days together.
Guided by her 'powers', Floss returns to Summer Bay, sure that something important is about to happen, though unaware until she actually arrives that Sally is leaving. Sally's thrilled to have her there for such a momentous occasion, but it is Aden who really benefits. On their way to what Sally expects will be a boring series of speeches at the school hall, they pass by the old Diner and Floss senses Aden trapped inside. But with Aden lingering closer to death, have they got to him in time?
