Monday 5th May
Libby learns that Steph has deliberately not told Toadie about her divorce from Max. She questions Steph's commitment to Toadie and forces Steph to ask herself if she loves Toadie like a friend or a lover. Meanwhile, Toadie struggles with what Steph's deception means for the future of their relationship. When Steph and Toadie finally talk, they both shy away from confronting their issues, and their future together looks more uncertain than ever.
Elle is wracked by disturbing flashbacks of the dance party disaster. Suspecting Elle of hiding her distress about what happened when the roof collapsed, Riley challenges Elle to re-enter the crumbling warehouse to prove she doesn't have a problem. But when Elle suffers a debilitating panic attack, Elle's safety is put at risk.
Marco and Carmella realise they can't raise Chloe in the cramped confines of the flat. When Marco floats buying the Timmins House -at the expense of his own dreams Carmella refuses to back the purchase. But Marco's loving pledge to build a future that will ultimately let them both pursue their dreams wins Carmella over.
Despite Riley's warning, Steve sends Bridget a Valentine's Day Card which she believes is from Declan. When she thanks Declan and expresses her delight, Bridget is hugely embarrassed to discover Declan didn't send it.
Tuesday 6th May
The auction of the Timmins house sees Steve bidding against Marco and Tim Collins. To his dismay, Steve soon reaches his limit and pulls out of the bidding. Marco and Carmella's hopes are soon dashed when developer Tim Collins bids beyond their budget. As it seems Tim is set to get his hands on the property, Steve makes a shock bid -way above his agreed limit -and the Parkers win the house. As Bridget and Riley celebrate, Ned is furious at Steve and Steve wonders how to break the news to Miranda...
Steph and Libby discuss Steph's relationship issues with Toadie. As Libby lays the ghosts of Shepparton to rest, Steph returns to Erinsborough with renewed determination to be upfront with Toadie on the topic of marriage. Meanwhile, Toadie wallows in disappointment as he realises that Steph will never agree to marry him, and decides the time has come to take a stand even if it means losing Steph. When Steph returns, Toadie's aghast when she prepares to make a very public announcement...
Riley gets the proof he needs when Elle suffers an anxiety attack at the warehouse site. Angry at Riley for inadvertently causing the attack, Elle pushes Riley away and vows never to speak to him again. Paul's suspicious that there's a problem with Elle and when Riley confirms, Paul realises it's up to him to do something about it.
Wednesday 7th May
Miranda's horrified when she finds out that Steve has spent way over their agreed budget and purchased Number Twenty Six. She goes to Rosie for legal advice and is dismayed when Rosie breaks the news: they're stuck with it. Desperately worried, Miranda squares off with Steve in public. Bridget and Riley worry that Steve's purchase is seriously threatening their parents' marriage. When Steve gets home he confronts Miranda and things get personal. Accusing Steve of continually chasing a cheap thrill, Miranda believes that this time he has gone too far.
Toadie agrees to Steph's request to set a wedding date. The community rejoices, but Libby and Valda have niggling concerns. Steph seems utterly convinced that she's doing the right thing, but in a private moment her façade slips and it seems Steph has her own secret reservations.
Rebecca is touched by Evelyn Wallace's predicament. As a mother of someone who was trapped in the warehouse collapse, Rebecca can easily see herself in poor Evelyn's position. But Rosie and Toadie are reluctant to take up Evelyn's case, leaving Rebecca frustrated. Paul suggests that Rebecca prove to her bosses that the case has merit.
Thursday 8th May
As Steve and Miranda trade insults that can’t be taken back, they are reminded they are two very different people. On Bridget’s prompting, Miranda and Riley talk maturely and openly, and Bridget learns that she has been protected from problems in the past. A welcome thaw in the Parker family tension comes when Steve and Miranda are reminded of why they fell in love with each other.
Rosie’s snappy behaviour becomes understandable when she buys herself a pregnancy test. But Rosie is clearly distressed by the possibility that she may be pregnant and struggles to confide in Frazer. When she does, Frazer is shocked by her rejection of the pregnancy.
When Steph appears to dismiss Toadie’s desire to discuss the wedding, Toadie fears she’s having second thoughts. Libby points out that Steph may just not be into the frills and overkill Toadie’s planning. When Toadie gets the courage to confront Steph, their love for each other is reconfirmed and Toadie is thrilled when Steph decides to take more of an involvement in planning their special day.
Rebecca enlists Elle’s journalist skills to find the best way to convince Rosie and Toadie to consider her class action case. Paul reproaches Rebecca for openly discussing the cause of Elle’s trauma and decides to take matters into his own hands to stop Elle’s planned return to work.
Friday 9th May
First Day back at school nerves for Libby and Rachel. Rachel’s antagonistic attitude has some questioning her motives for returning to the same school. Libby worries about her ability to stay impartial when it comes to Rachel and the class. Reality proves very tough when Rachel comes under fire in class and Libby struggles to maintain control. In the chaos that ensues Libby is forced to assert herself, and Declan and Rachel form an unlikely alliance.
Elle pushes herself to the brink of collapse. The arrival of Heather Pryor, the new senior journalist at the Erinsborough News, inflames her competition with Riley when Elle observes their instant rapport. Believing the cadetship to be slipping from her grasp, and growing increasingly irrational, Elle blames Riley for her floundering state. Paul fears for his daughter’s sanity and takes action, provoking Elle’s ire. The outpouring of her inner demons threatens to estrange father and daughter.
An inconclusive pregnancy test forces Rosie and Frazer to confront their conflicting hopes and fears. With Frazer’s help Rosie is able to voice her fears about motherhood but Frazer’s enthusiasm for the happy chaos of parenthood only sharpens Rosie’s inner conflict. When the pregnancy is confirmed, Rosie finds herself at the mercy of confronting emotions.
