Rachel then shatters Susan's heart with a damning assessment of Susan's failed relationships.

Carmella bravely tells Marco she made a mistake and he happily confirms he's coming home to her. Oliver is torn by the news and asks Marco's sister Mia whether she was serious about him still loving his ex-wife Marissa. She confirms this and Oliver must decide whether to play the bad guy and break Carmella's fairytale reunion.

Declan reveals his father died last week and Bridget wonders why he didn't open up to her. She thinks it may have something to do with Rachel's barbs, but assures Declan that she knows they're just friends. Declan takes it the wrong way and says he has enough friends. Bridget vents her frustration to Ringo about stubborn Declan, but she reveals too much and Ringo pointedly asks what exactly is stopping her and Declan from getting together.

Susan is furious with Libby for discussing Taj and Libby stuns Susan by revealing that she still hasn't gotten over Susan's rejection of her at the time -and she's judging Rachel the same way she judged Libby. Susan confides in Rebecca that she's always prided herself on being a good mother, but now questions her success. Rebecca helps Susan accept she's human and Susan reconciles with Libby, but Rachel knows that she has said some hurtful things to Susan that cannot be easily forgotten and fears their relationship is broken.
