Ewan Murdoch’s relationship with his stepmum Lydia is tested when he appears at Hola with some fake cash and demands that she put it through the till.  Later, he manages to cause even more trouble as just when his brother Rory has demanded that Amber apologises to Jamie, who is still scarred by the memory of her cruel Ouija board, Ewan turns up and threatens the younger boy.

Elsewhere, Bob and Jean get bad news about Alfie’s health and are dreading telling Jimmy.  However, there’s a slight ray of hope when they find out that he could be saved by an operation, and Bob swears he will get the money to fund it.

And Viv flirts outrageously with Raymond and is amused to find his profile on an internet dating website.

Last week's episode:

Tuesday 29th April 8.00pm

While Jimmy and Raymond are working out, they hear a dog whimpering and are astounded to see its owner beat it up and run away.  Jimmy’s heart melts when he sees the dog, so he calls him Alfie and decides to help him to recovery.  Scarlett, however, is none too pleased with the idea of having a dog in the flat – especially when Alfie pees on baby Madonna’s blanket and then on the floor of Interjumble causing her business partner Deek to slip and fall.

Meanwhile, Ewan works hard to prove to his father Lenny that he is worthy of being an equal in his business.  When Lenny gives him a job to do, Ewan struggles with his conscience but is prepared to go through with it nonetheless.  Later, when Kelly Marie reveals to Ewan that she has finished with Michael so that they can be together, he puts on a tough act and spurns her advances which results in her difficult decision to leave Shieldinch and head for Peru.

Elsewhere, Scott helps Shona with her presentation to get funding for the community centre, and later comes up with a business idea involving Carly.

And Amber, keen to befriend Nicki and Jamie again, organises a Ouija board to try to contact Jamie’s dad, Eddie Hunter, from the grave.
