Wednesday 23rd April
Felix (Adam Leese) holds Luke (Sol Heras) hostage in his dressing room and drugs him unconscious, whisking him away to the basement, tying him up and demanding that either Latex Luke or Real Luke must be gone from his life forever.
Vernon is put in charge of the “all or nothing” contract and Mal (Sean Gallagher) rejoices in preparing to get the upper hand from Karina (Michelle Collins). The scales finally fall from Jinx’s eyes when she realizes Mal has used her to make Karina jealous and still doesn’t want her to have the baby. Pete (James Anderson) is likewise hounded to breaking point when it becomes apparent that Luke has gone missing and Mal holds Pete responsible.
With Luke a no show, the live final is stalled for as long as possible but it appears as if Bethany (Holly Quin-Ankrah) may have to win by default. Mal makes a desperate bid to steal the contract and dispose of it, but Vernon (Gary Cooke) was wise to this possibility and kept the contract on his person.
Bethany, still struggling with her mother’s revelation that she is underage, is unwilling to win by default and must be talked down from walking away.
Trapped in the basement with Felix, Luke manages to escape by head-butting him. The blow brings Felix back to his normal servile ways and a suitably shamed Felix scurries off into the night, leaving Luke to break free. Luke arrives onstage in the nick of time and the result is announced...

Last week's episode:
Wednesday 16th April
The day of the live show final and Mal (Sean Gallagher) and Karina (Michelle Collins) are renewing their vows in an elaborate and expensive ceremony. Jinx (Sophia Dawnay) is still trying to have Mal take responsibility for the baby but Mal threatens her to keep away, phoning his lawyer to ensure a pre-nup is written into the wedding renewal contract. Mal has sold Karina a wooly version of what went on between him and Jinx and Karina ensures that Jinx is invited to the wedding.
With everyone on the guest list, suspicions are aroused when Dana (Sammy Glen) appears singing Suicide Bride. It appears that Karina over-heard Mal and Jinx’s conversation from the week before and regained her memories as a result of it. The whole wedding was a sham organized by her to sting Mal in his wallet and make a mockery of him. A fuming Mal is left jilted at the altar with Karina steaming ahead to the final, vowing to make Bethany (Holly Quin-Ankrah) a winner.
Mal gets back on the offensive and proposes to Jinx with the knowledge of how much this would upset Karina. A lovestoned Jinx agrees. Mal and Karina are particularly scathing of their rival mentor's protégé on the show and Luke (Sol Heras) and Bethany are caught in the crossfire. Mal and Karina’s fighting reaches breaking point and the show is clearly suffering as a result of this. Forced into a corner by an exasperated Sundae (Nicola Hughes) and Pete, they agree to an “all or nothing” contract – whoever’s protégé wins gets everything – the stakes have never been higher.
Meanwhile, Felix (Adam Leese) is increasingly losing the plot. Re-inflating a repaired Latex Luke, he goes public with their relationship and takes him out to dinner, then to visit his mum – only his mum is dead in a coffin. As his mind is increasingly splintered, Felix’s mum convinces Felix that he must sort Luke out once and for all. He breaks into the studios and hides in Luke’s dressing room, popping out to confront a perturbed Luke and locking him in the dressing room just as Mal and Karina are finalizing their all or nothing deal.
Bethany has a confrontation of her own to deal with at the live show. With Lynette (Alison Newman) still being ignored by her daughter, she slips backstage and confronts Bethany in her dressing room with a shocking revelation. It seems Lynette lied about Bethany’s age to get her into the competition – she produces Bethany’s birth certificate – Bethany is only seventeen and therefore not eligible to compete.
