Venice: the series

The most successful web soap to date is now in its third series. Venice is co-produced by and stars former Guiding Light favourite Crystall Chappell, who describes it "a show about families, and life, and all the simplicity of it, and the turmoil of it. We're going to be following a character named Gina who is a designer, and she is a gay woman."

Look out for actors from daytime soap royalty, with former stars from Guiding Light, Knots Landing, One Life To Live and Days Of Our Lives. Some episodes are even directed by Susan Flannery of The Bold and The Beautiful.

California Heaven

This original web series was a pioneer of online TV and follows the Hutton and Corrigan families in Malibu.

As the show's website says: "When the body of an estranged relative washes up on shore, it triggers a chain of events that divides a family and a town, and brings a young girl from Oklahoma to Malibu to investigate her mother’s death. Was it a suicide? Murder? Or something else? In Malibu, nothing is ever what it seems."

DeVanity

Four siblings are left in control of a crumbling business empire after the death of jewellry designer Richard DeVanity.

The show's website explains: "When Richard DeVanity is brutally murdered, his four adopted children are left to control his crumbling jewelry empire. Jason, the oldest tries to rule over his wayward siblings Bianca, Byron, and Jackie, while his scheming wife Lara manipulates her way through the family to buy her way into his heart. Meanwhile secrets and lies about as the siblings do everything in their power to hide the truth from Jason about his missing first wife Isabelle."

River Ridge

Coming exclusively to the SFN from January 13th this new web soap is described as: "The interwoven kaleidoscope of the residents of a small east coast town and their familiar and relatable circumstances" and stars former Guiding Light and All My Children fan favourite Beth Ehlers.
